Nissan no doubt builds a strong lineup of vehicles, complete with top-notch SUVs, trucks, sports cars, sedans, and more. But if you want that kind of choice and quality while also saving money, purchasing a used Nissan — instead of a new one — can be an intelligent way to go. That’s because the typical new cars, Nissans included, will start to depreciate almost as soon as you get the keys. It quickly adds up, too, so that after just one year on the road, most vehicles depreciate by about 20%. Depreciation rates can easily top 60% on five-year-old cars. The thing is, as depreciation lowers a vehicle’s value, sellers have to lower their prices — and used-car buyers reap the benefits.

Another advantage will come when you insure your pre-owned Nissan since coverage for used vehicles is generally lower than for similarly equipped new ones. This is especially important when you remember that insurance payments are a major part of your ongoing ownership costs with any vehicle.

You can also rest easy knowing each vehicle we sell has been carefully inspected and serviced before it goes out onto our lot. It’s simple: Our goal is to sell the highest-quality used Nissans in Denver/Aurora and nearby communities.

What’s in a name? Well, Nissan began life as the Kaishinsha Motor Car Works in 1911 but actually began selling cars under the Datsun brand — even after the company morphed into Nissan in 1930, taking its new moniker from the initials of the holding company that actually owned the operations. The automaker entered the U.S. market in 1958 with the Datsun Bluebird, and models like the Datsun compact pickup, 240Z sports car, and the B210 small-car family helped establish the company as a popular brand in this country during the 1970s. By 1979, Nissan had opened its first U.S. design center in California, and it started building cars in the United States in 1984. After all that, the automaker transitioned to the Nissan name for U.S. vehicles beginning in 1986. Today, millions of Nissan vehicles are making their owners happy each year!
